Jon Peters Opens Up on 12-Day Marriage to Pam Anderson: 'There's No Fool Like an Old Fool'

February 11, 2020

Jon Peters is opening up about his 12-day marriage to Pamela Anderson, and he doesn’t seem happy.

Peters and Anderson shocked fans with a surprise wedding ceremony in January. The two remained married for 12 days before Peters allegedly ended the romance over text message.

Now, Peters is speaking out about his experience with the whirlwind love affair. According to Page Six, Peters writes in an email to a source, “Everything they told you was a lie.”

He continues on to say that Anderson was the one who proposed to him via text, despite rumors that it happened the other way around. “Needless to say that when she texted me that she wanted to get married, it was kind of a dream come true even though I was engaged to someone else and the lady was moving in,” he shares.

Page Six also reports that Peters is now claiming that he paid off some of Anderson’s debts before the relationship hit the rocks. “I dropped everything for Pam. She had almost $200,000 in bills and no way to pay it so I paid it and this is the thanks I get. There’s no fool like an old fool,” he writes.

A representative for Anderson fired back at The Post, saying, “These claims are not only entirely fabricated, they are ludicrous.” The statement continues, “Despite Mr. Peters’ efforts to elicit a response from Ms. Anderson, she has no comment to provide and wishes him well.”

Peters concludes his email by referencing the infamous text that ended their relationship. “There’s a lot more to the story but I think the text…is self explanatory,” he writes.

The message in question reads in part, “These past 9 days have been a beautiful amazing love fest.” He goes on to outline his concerns with the relationship before concluding, “I thought building an empire together would be fun but I was wrong.”
