Matthew McConaughey celebrated his 51st birthday surrounded by family.

The actor shared a video montage on Instagram of his children, daughter Vida (10), and sons Levi (12) and Livingston (7), singing “Happy Birthday.”

The Oscar winner captioned the photo: "a beautiful alarm clock I had today."

McConaughey’s wife, Camila Alves McConaughey, posted the same video on her social media account.

"I know we are all on the election right now but this was a good alarm clock the morning after Election Day celebrating the amazing human that @officiallymcconaughey is!!!!" she captioned the post, adding, "Yes, it is his birthday today! Happy birthday my love!"

The footage appears to have been shot when the kids were much younger.
As they sing the birthday song to their dad, they make silly faces and giggle.

This is the second time this year the notoriously private parents gave fans a peak at their children.

In October, Camila shared a rare photo of Levi that revealed he’s his father’s mini-me.

The snap saw Levi finishing up a baking session with his mom. Fans commented that he bore a striking resemblance to his famous dad as they both shared the same light brown curls.

The actor also opened up to PEOPLE about how his children have been keeping themselves occupied during the coronavirus pandemic.

"They have doubled down on their hobbies, creative things and parts of themselves I don’t think they would have leaned into if they were back in school,” he said.

"One of the assets of this COVID quarantine is they’ve been forced to be more self-reliant. They’ve been forced to create their way out of their boredom," he added.
