'Vanderpump Rules' Star Stassi Schroeder Opens Up About Being in 'Wedding Purgatory'

November 1, 2019

Stassi Schroeder and Beau Clark are opening up about how wedding planning is going, and so far, so stressful. Schroeder and Clark have revealed that they’re in “wedding purgatory.”

As fun as it sounds to bop around Rome looking at wedding venues, the “Vanderpump Rules” star revealed on her RADIO.COM podcast, “Straight Up with Stassi,” that it wasn’t all it was cracked up to be. “I had planned all of these cute outfits and I didn’t get to wear any of them because it was work,” she said.

On top of that, their Roman adventure presented one hurdle that they’ve been having trouble getting over – finding a venue that will allow “Vanderpump Rules” to shoot there. They weren’t so lucky with their first option.

“We fell in love with our second option,” Schroeder reveals. And while it may seem nice to have the show in their corner for the wedding, it’s not always so great for the two. “It makes it so much harder. I don’t get my first choice for anything,” she said.

While the couple waits for their venue of choice to approve filming, the couple reveals they’re kind of stuck in making any other plans. “We’re in wedding purgatory,” Schroeder reveals. The duo can’t go forward with any more planning until they’ve nailed down the right venue and a date.

Beau has some opinions on the matter, too. “If our first choice doesn’t happen, in my opinion right now, we can’t do Rome,” he revealed. “If they do not allow filming, we may have to go to London. That was our second choice city,” he continued.

Despite the planning hurdles, the couple remains in good spirits as they put the finishing touches on their guest lists. “Our focus is putting together a guest list that is people that are important to both of us that we feel like will be in our lives forevs, or at least like, the next five years,” Schroeder explains.
