Time is running out for shipping holiday packages in time for Christmas

Time is running out if you are shipping holiday packages you want to arrive by Christmas.

With more people shopping online this year and shipping presents to loved one who they can not be with because of the pandemic, shipping deadlines have been moved up.

December 15th is the deadline for on-time ground delivery with the US Postasl Service, UPS and Fed-Ex.

Friday the 18th is the deadline to get first class mail delivered by the US Postal Service, December 19th is the deadline for Priority Mail, and December 23rd for Priority Mail Express, reported USA Today.

For UPS, December 21st is the cutoff date for 3 Day Select shipping, December 22nd for 2nd Day Air service, and December 23rd for Next Day Air service.

For FedEx, December 21st is the deadline for Express Saver, December 22nd for 2Day service, and December 23rd for overnight service.

Postal workers say they expected this week to be their busiest week this year.

More than 3 billion packages are expected to shiped this holiday season.
