Even our heroes get emotionally overwhelmed at times.

The fire crew was at the Dome Fire when the video was taken -- a fire that has burned over 43,000-acres of the historic park.

“This flared up right in front of our engine captain who got out quick to try to knock it down,” Daniel Magallanes, who was shooting the scene of devastation, told Storyful.

“After seeing we wouldn’t be able to get a grip on it, we loaded up right away and kept bumping along,” he added.

Firefighting crews are being stretched thin as nearly 30 fires blaze across California thanks to a two-week-long sizzling heat wave.

At least seven fires have burned in Northern California, in Napa and Sonoma, and a fire in Vacaville caused residents to scramble to evacuate.

The Lake Fire has grown to 21,115 acres with 38% containment and 1,983 personnel assigned, according to LA County Fire Department on Twitter on Tuesday.

Mandatory evacuations are in place as the Lake Fire continues to burn near North Lake Hughes Road.
