We know that The Lion King remake is coming, but now we're hearing big news about who could be cast as Nala.

Reports say that Beyoncé is the top choice of the film's director, Jon Favreau, to voice the role of Nala.

The film's production is being fast-tracked because of Disney's recent success with remaking classic films.

Production of The Lion King is expected to start sometime in May, and Beyoncé's twins are due in May. So there's no way that Bey will be able to sign on to the project, right? Well, it actually could happen. Variety reports that the studio and director would be willing to accommodate her schedule because it is a voice-acting role.

Beyoncé has not made any decisions yet, but her fans are freaking out about about the possibility of her starring in the film:

Who else will be in The Lion King reboot? Donald Glover is on board to voice Simba, and James Earl Jones is reprising his role as Mufasa (Simba's father).
