Donate A Bed For Kids

January 5, 2017

What kind of bed did you sleep in as a kid? Did you have one of those cool Racecar beds? Or how about bunk beds? Well, think about this... Thousands of kids in our area sleep on the floor. That's right.

Thankfully, Beds For Kids is there, Furnishing Futures and getting beds and other essential furniture to families in need. But Beds For Kids can't do it alone. They need help from all of us. Let's Make a difference for a child in our area today by making a furniture or monetary donation.

Did you know that donating something like a bed, a kitchen table, and chairs, or even a lamp can really help a family in need. Many families want a fresh start and you can help. With a small donation of furniture, time or money you can help get a local family back on track.

Here are 5 ways you can help:

-Donate gently used furniture and mattresses.

(No rips, tears, or stains. Mattresses must be less than 8 yrs old.)

Call (980) 422-1192 to schedule a pick-up.

- Volunteer with Beds for Kids.

Group opportunities are on Saturday mornings in our warehouse, while individuals and smaller

groups deliver to our clients and help pick up furniture from our donors through the weekdays.

-Donate a Bed Kit.

A complete Bed Kit includes a new pillow, sheet set and a blanket.

-Give your Birthday to Beds for Kids.

Instead of asking for personal gifts, have your guests make a donation

in your honor to Beds for Kids.

-Tell friends about Beds for Kids.

Get a local business, church or civic group involved.

Let friends know how Beds for Kids serves families in our community.
