Forgetting Actually Means You Have a Better Memory

It seems like every day you hear a commercial or read an article about improving your memory. Well, scientists now believe that being forgetful actually means you have a better memory! This might sound counterintuitive but it actually makes a lot of sense. I know several people who can remember the names of all the Disney princesses and their corresponding prince but forget where they left their keys on a daily basis.

Your brain has to be able to sort the important information from the irrelevant details. So forgetting the name of the cartoon chicken in that movie from 1992 might actually mean that you have an amazing memory. Read more here.
