Harry Styles just gave fans some real insight into his personal life. In a new interview with Cameron Crowe of Rolling Stone, Harry Styles covered everything from his relationship with Kendall Jenner to his love of romantic comedies.

So what were some of the highlights? Here are four things we learned from the interview:

 1. Yes, a recent relationship is at the center of his new album.

Harry did admit that a recent relationship really affected his writing process. So fans want to know: is it about Kendall Jenner? Well, Styles wouldn't confirm that their relationship was at the center of his album.

He spoke about this person who played a role in the writing process, however, pretty openly.

“She’s a huge part of the album. Sometimes you want to tip the hat, and sometimes you just want to give them the whole cap…and hope they know it’s just for them," he told Rolling Stone about this mysterious woman.

2. Solo careers for the guys may not mean it is the end of One Direction's time together.

"I love the band, and would never rule out anything in the future. The band changed my life, gave me everything," Styles revealed.

3. Harry has a message for Taylor Swift.

The 23-year-old sort of acknowledged that Taylor's songs "Out of the Woods" and "Style" were probably about him.

In fact, Harry was asked if he had a message for Taylor today:

"Certain things don't work out... In writing songs about stuff like that, I like tipping a hat to the time together. You're celebrating the fact it was powerful," he told the magazine. "And if you run into that person, maybe it’s awkward, maybe you have to get drunk … but you shared something. Meeting someone new, sharing those experiences, it’s the best s— ever. So thank you."

4. Harry developed an obsession with romantic comedies while he was working on the album in Jamaica.

Styles says that he and his guitarist began watching romantic comedies on Netflix daily while in Jamaica. He had a particular affection for Nicholas Sparks, actually. He's even given sparks a cool nickname, "Nicky Spee."

The time spent in Jamaica did help with the writing process. He lived with his band in a remote area of northern Jamaica. He called the experience "10% beach party and 90% musical expedition."

In the full Rolling Stone interview, Styles spoke about naming the album, the writing process, and he even shares a message for Zayn Malik.

Harry's debut album, which is titled Harry Styles, will be released on May 12.
