@WLNK/Kary Bowser

We love to read here at the Link here are a few of our picks for your last minute summer reading list.

Sheri's Pick: INTO THE DROWNING DEEP by Mira Grant

Do you guys read horror books? I always stayed away from them for the most part because I was afraid I’d get too creeped out. And now that I’ve read Into the Drowning Deep..I need more! ✨✨✨ It’s about killer mermaids! I much better could it really get?! Of course that is simplifying it a bit, but you should definitely check it out for yourself. My review along with a synopsis is posted on my blog (link in bio)! . . #intothedrowningdeep #miragrant #orbitbooks #horrorbooks #killermermaids #cryptozoology #bookishconnoisseur #bookishconnoisseurbookreviews #bookreviewer #flatlay #bookphotography #bookishflatlay

If you like sitting on the beach and thinking about deadly sharks, you’re going to love sitting on the beach and reading this book about deadly, violent psychotic mermaids!  It is an excellent beach read-  I highly recommend it.

Todd's Pick:

The Catcher Was A Spy by Nicholas Dawidoff

Nothing says summer like baseball... and Spies. The book is about a former major league baseball player Moe Berg who also was a spy during WW||.

Kelly's Pick:

The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck by Mark Manson

Starting this today and I am so excited! I have heard such good things, have you read this book? If you did share your thoughts! ----

If you're a self-help skeptic this book is for you. It takes on the mindless positivity that some books are pushing and illuminating that struggles give live more meaning and character.

Program Director & Bossman Darrin's Pick:

Killers of the Flower Moon Written by David Grann

3/5⭐️ Nonfiction, true crime book written in journalistic style about the mistreatment of the Osage tribe during the oil boom. Good insight into the beginning of the FBI. #killersoftheflowermoon #davidgrann #truecrime #bookstagram

If you love real crime stories this book follows along the story of Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI. This book made it on the New York Times Bestseller list as well as earning accolades in Rolling Stone Magazine.

My Pick:

If you're looking for a good dose of motivation and positivity this book has it in heaps. I'm normally not a self-help reader but the book's wit and realness caught my attention.
