Women Are Cheating For Different Reasons Than Before

The number of women cheating is on the rise. In the past 20 years, it has risen by 40% while the percentage of men cheating has stayed the same. A new book titled State Of Affairs: Rethinking Infidelity shines a light on the rise in married women cheating on their husbands.

In the book, many women supposedly turned to infidelity to keep the happy family together. One woman said she was nicer to her husband when she had something "special going on just for her." She was kinder, more patient and "less of a bitch." Many women feel that they do most of the work to keep up their marriages which is another reason they turn to infidelity whether its emotional or physical.
Esther Perel the writer of State Of Affairs: Rethinking Infidelity did an eye-opening ted talk on the subject 2 years ago.
