Some of the best life lessons I’ve learned came from making painful mistakes.  Sometimes I kick it into damage control by apologizing to someone affected, or shake off fear & regret and go forward with a new plan.  In high school I was late for almost everything.  I shutter to think how plans to meet my best friend at a restaurant, would have her stuck waiting at least 10 minutes.  She finally spoke up and said  “if you don’t meet me on time next time, there won’t be another”.   Before it was too late, I finally understood how much I hurt her.  Certainly some lessons can be avoided –like taking the advice from a wise, loving grandmother, or when up against something listening to our own intuition or common sense.  To stay on the path of happiness, here are 7 simple ways
