Thanksgiving is a time to be with friends and family, but you don't have to do it at home. Many restaurants will open their doors to feed you (and your family) next Thursday.

In fact, about 10% of Americans will celebrate the holiday at a restaurant. Who can blame them? Who wants to deal with the hassle of cooking and cleaning for the holiday?

They will offer a special Thanksgiving meal at select locations. Good Housekeeping reports that the special will feature a turkey dinner with all the fixins. Check for local availability.

The homestyle restaurant chain is offering catering options (ready-to-serve entrees and sides) for the holiday, and the buffet at their restaurants will be open as well on Thanksgiving.

Of course, you can have a Thanksgiving breakfast at "America's Diner" or you can enjoy a turkey dinner with dressing and dessert later in the day.
The chain says that Thanksgiving is their busiest day of the year across their 647 locations nationwide. They're offering meals to go, and options for dine-in at just $12.99 per adult ($7.99 per child).

If a buffet is more your style for Thanksgiving Day, then Golden Corral has you covered. Their buffet is full of all of your favorite main dishes and side dishes. Pricing and availability may vary.

If you're craving wings this holiday, don't fret. Most Hooters ARE open for Thanksgiving. Check with your local restaurant for more information.

Legal Seafood isn't JUST offering up seafood on Thanksgiving. The chain has a special Thanksgiving menu (featuring turkey, stuffing, all the veggies & more for $24.95 per person). The restaurant will even open their airport locations.

You can add a little pasta to your Thanksgiving feast this year at Maggiano's. They're offering a four-course family-style dinner (including the traditional Thanksgiving feast AND two types of pasta) for just under $50 a person.

Thanksgiving is on Thursday, but you can get a head start on the weekend. TGI Fridays locations are open, and in years past they have offered specials at the bar so you can watch football.

Of course! They NEVER close. Every time there is a large storm or disaster we see photos of the popular chain serving up food, and Thanksgiving is no exception.

Of course, you can always bring your Thanksgiving pants to the restaurant too
