It isn't Christmas until Darlene Love sings "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)" on late night TV, right? It's even cooler when she's joined by Pitch Perfect 3 star, Anna Kendrick. The Roots, and of course, Jimmy Fallon, joined in the fun too.

Jimmy Fallon continued a symbolic holiday tradition earlier this week when Darlene Love appeared to perform her holiday classic "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)" with classroom instruments.

Darlene took the lead for most of the iconic track, but Anna took the lead on the vocals for one of the song's verses.

Love's appearance on the program felt incredibly nostaglic for many teleivision viewers. As you'll probably recall, the 76-year-old singer became a holiday tradition on David Letterman's late night TV show. She even followed him on to his CBS show.

The singer appeared on Letterman's final broadcast before Christmas from 1986 through 2014.
