Calvin Harris Releases New Album; Speaks Out About Taylor Swift

June 30, 2017

Calvin Harris has dropped a new album that has left us feeling all kinds of summery heading into the long, holiday weekend.

Harris released Funk Wav Bounces Vol 1 today (June 30).  We already know that we loved the lead single from the album. In fact, the Katy Perry, Pharrell Williams and Big Sean collaboration “Feels” is steadily rising up the music charts.

The entire album has an awesome ‘80s feel that is perfect for summer.

Calvin is also speaking out about his infamous breakup with Taylor Swift, as he’s been on a publicity tour for today’s release.

He told British GQ that he regrets “snapping” at Taylor Swift after their highly-publicized breakup in 2016.

At the time, Calvin accused Taylor of “making him look bad” when it was revealed that she helped him write his hit song "This is What You Came For.”He told GQ that was protecting what he viewed as his “one talent.” In 2016, Harris publicly suggested that Swift should focus on her new boyfriend (Tom Hiddleston) instead of belittling an ex like that.

Now he's telling GQ that his Twitter was the result of him “succumbing to pressure” because he’s “not good at being a celebrity,” but none of that matters.

Either way, we're loving the new music from Calvin.
