Demi Lovato Announces New Album & Releases Title Track, "Tell Me You Love Me"

August 24, 2017

We’re still obsessing over Demi Lovato’s “Sorry Not Sorry,” but Demi just gave us even more new music to obsess over. Lovato just announced the details about her new album, and she released the album's title track.

Lovato revealed late Wednesday she will release her sixth studio album, Tell Me You Love Me,  on September 29. Lovato also dropped the album's title track, and yes, we're already obsessed with the song!

While Demi was “Sorry, I’m Not Sorry” on the track “Sorry Not Sorry" last month, she opened with an apology in the lyrics of today’s release, “Tell Me You Love Me.” The track opens as Lovato sings: “Oh no, here we go again / Fighting over what I said / I'm sorry, yeah I’m sorry.”

We can already hear ourselves singing this one in the car. If you see us at a stoplight next week belting out this track, just know that we are obsessed with Demi's powerful anthem.

Lovato belts out the chorus as she sings: “Oh tell me you love me / I need someone / On days like this I do,” and she continues on to the power lyrics of “No, you ain't nobody 'til you got somebody / You ain't nobody 'til you got somebody" during the song's epic chorus.

Can’t get enough Demi? We don't blame you. You're in luck. You’ll have two chances to see her on TV this weekend:

She’ll be performing the National Anthem before Saturdays Mayweather/McGregor fight, which will air on Showtime.

Demi will perform “Sorry Not Sorry” during Sunday’s Video Music Awards on MTV. That performance will be apparently be done remotely from Las Vegas.
