Everything You Need to Know About the 2017 American Music Awards

The 45th American Music Awards on Sunday night will be jam packed a TON of star power. Here's everything you need to know about Sunday's live broadcast:

WHEN AND WHERE WILL THE AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS TAKE PLACE? - The show will air live at 8pm ET on ABC from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

WHO IS HOSTING? - The show will be hosted by "Black-ish" star Tracee Ellis Ross. Her mother, by the way, will be accepting the the lifetime achievement award during the show.

WHO IS PERFORMING? - Wow! What a list of performances for the show:

  • Kelly Clarkson and Pink will collaborate for the first time EVER to open the show. Both artists will have solo perforamnces later in the show as well, we think.
  • The broadcast will feature the first live televised performance from K-pop sensation BTS.
  • Selena Gomez will perform her new single, which is titled “Wolves,” for the first time on television.  
  • Shawn Mendes will perform his smash hit song "There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back" on Sunday. 
  • Imagine Dragons and Khalid will collaborate for the time ever in an “unique” collaboration, according to Dick Clark Productions.
  • Christina Aguilera will mark the 25th anniversary of the film The Bodyguard with a tribute to Whitney Houston.
  • Diana Ross will perform during the ceremony, as she accepts the Lifetime Achievement Award.
