Ginger Spice (Finally) Apologizes for Leaving the Spice Girls in 1998

It's an apology that was 19 years in the making. Ginger Spice just apologized for abruptly leaving the Spice Girls in the middle of their world tour in 1998.
Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice) responded to a tweet from a fan account that mentioned that it been 19 years since she left the group.

Halliwell responded to the tweet to say she was "sorry about that," but she noted that everything worked out in the end.

Geri told Oprah last year that she made the decision to leave the band because of disputes with the girls, but noted that her decision was pretty immature.
