Ladies, listen up! A brand that may be one of your favorites is about to get a new name. In fact, fellas may want to listen up before they start holiday shopping.

The Coach Company of New York, a designer primarily known for luxury bags and other leather goods, will be getting a new name next month. The company announced on Wednesday that the Coach name will change to Tapestry at the end of October.

The decision is related to the company’s recent acquisitions. Earlier this year they acquired the Kate Spade and Stuart Weitzman brands. Tapestry will house all three brands so the Coach label itself on your handbags won't actually disappear.

The company’s CEO, Victor Luis, said in a statement that the new name “speaks to creativity, craftsmanship, authenticity and inclusivity on a shared platform and values.”

Coach was founded in 1941. Some are questioning the brand’s decision to make a change on Twitter.

The value of the company’s stock fell early on Wednesday. The change will go into effect on October 31.
