Julia Louis Dreyfus just revealed that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer.

The 56-year-old VEEP star tweeted, “One in eight women get breast cancer. Today, I'm the one.” Her short statement also said she has a “glorious group of supportive and caring family and friends.”

Julia just won her sixth straight EMMY for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for her performance as Selina Meyer. Production has just begun on the show’s seventh (and final) season.

Dreyfus, of course, is also known for her role as Elaine Benes on the hit sitcom Seinfeld.

Our thoughts are with you, Julia!
