With just over a week until we get to hear Kelly Clarkson's eighth studio album, the incredibly talented 35-year-old dropped the title track from the upcoming release, Meaning of Life. It’s safe to say that the track gave us ALL the feels.

In fact, in several interviews this year, the first American Idol winner has said that “Meaning of Life” was a track that was originally set to appear on her 2015 album, Piece by Piece. She didn’t want the track to get lost in the shuffle of that release, so she held on to it.  Yes, we are VERY glad that we got to hear this song, Kelly.

The soulful track brings Kelly back to her roots. She totally sounds like the girl that won our hearts back in 2002 on the first season of American Idol with her blend of soulful R&B tracks that showed off her insane vocal talents. By the way, Kelly said that this album IS the album she has always wanted to make. So we can't wait until the whole thing is released next Friday.

For the song’s moving chorus she sings:
When you hold me, I finally see / When you say love, I know what it means / I was broke down so alone in the dark / Until you showed me the light

Let’s just say… if “Meaning of Life” doesn’t make you feel some things... you probably have ice running through your veins.

Meaning of Life drops next Friday (October 27). The first singles from the album, “Love So Soft” and “Move You," dropped in early September.
