It's the biggest event of the year, and the invitations do not disappoint.

Kensington Palace shared photos of the invitations that were about to sent out for the Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

"They feature the Three-Feathered Badge of the Prince of Wales printed in gold ink," Kensington Palace wrote in a tweet on Thursday.

The gorgeous invitations follow many years of Royal tradition and have been made by Barnard Westwood, according to the palace.

The Palace also shared a video that shows the invitations being printed.

"All of the invitations in a process known as die stamping, on a machine from the 1930s that she affectionately nicknamed Maude," the palace wrote.

It is estimated that about 600 people were invited to Royal Wedding, which will take place at St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle on Saturday May 19. It will be followed by a luncheon hosted by the Queen.

The "real party" is expected to begin when about 200 guests will attend a private reception at Frogmore House. The event, which will be hosted by Prince Charles, could have some celebrity star power. It's rumored that Ed Sheeran may perform during the evening reception. We're not sure if Sheeran has actually spoken to the Royal Family about the gig, but it's nice to fantasize, right?

"This is where everyone's really going to get down, this is for close friends and family," a source recently told ET.

So, of course, it seems likely that Ed Sheeran could perform the soundtrack to the couple's first dance even.  Which songs would Sheeran perform? If he performs "Perfect," maybe he could bring Beyonce along. We LOVE their recently released duet on that track.

Well, Ed may have given us an EXCLUSIVE hint about another love song that could work for the reception. Yeah, we asked Ed last year which of his song lyrics has been most successful to pick up ladies:
