It’s a Christmas miracle that was 23 years in the making, but it finally happened! Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You” broke into the top 10 on this week’s Billboard’s Hot 100 chart for the first time in the song's 23 year history.

The track, which was originally released in 1994, had previously peaked at number 11. In the chart dated December 30, 2017, “All I Want For Christmas Is You,” came in at number 9.

The accomplishment marks the 28th time that Mariah has reached the top 10, her first since "Obsessed" reached number 7 in 2009.

With a few days left until the holiday, of course, it is possible that the track could be even higher on the final Hot 100 Chart of 2017, which will be released next week.

Until then, we'll just be over here belting out the lyrics to the iconic track for the next four days.
