The first season of the Will & Grace revival hasn't even ended its television run yet, but NBC has already ordered a third season of the hit show.

The show, which returned to television screens last September, has proven to be one of the most successful television revivals that we've seen recently. In fact, the show has averaged about 9.8 million viewers since its debut on September 28.

NBC had ordered a 13 episode second season (2018-2019) before the show premiered. It was revealed this weekend that season would be upped by five more episodes to a total of an 18 episode second season.

The news got even better for fans of the hit show. The network also revealed this weekend that they had picked up the show for a third season (2019-2020).

The announcements were made during a panel Will & Grace discussion at PaleyFest in Los Angeles this weekend

"As far as I’m concerned, we can’t get enough of ‘Will & Grace’ and 23 more episodes is music to my ears,” said NBC Entertainment chairman Robert Greenblatt said. “I’m overwhelmed by the euphoric response the new show has received from the press and the audience."

Will & Grace originally ran on NBC from 1998 through 2006.

Meanwhile, we're just days away from getting our glimpse at ABC's revival of Roseanne. The show will return to ABC on March 27 with a special one-hour premiere at 8pm ET/PT.
