Think you're good at binge watching? Apparently, Netflix has a special name for you.

Yes, Netflix just revealed that they have a term for viewers who finish an entire season of a show within 24 hours of its release. They call them "binge racers."

And, while it may have premiered over Thanksgiving weekend last year, you should NEVER doubt fans of The Girlmore Girls. Yes, Gilmore Girls: A Year In the Life set a record for the most binge racers globablly. It was also the number one show in binge racing in both the United States and Canada.

If you think about it, however, this sort of makes sense. The show was released in the middle of a long, holiday weekend. Plus, there were only 4 episodes (each of those episodes were under 2 hours in length).

Netflix revealed that rest of the top 5 shows binged globablly include:

  • Fuller House
  • Marvel's Defenders
  • The Seven Deadly Sins
  • The Ranch

So next time you sit down to binge watch a show, remember Netflix is keeping track.

Actually, this should make you feel a little better about your viewing habits: the streaming giant reaveled that there are more than 8.4 million "binger racers" worldwide, according to their data.
