It's official! Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon are coming together for a new TV series. We first heard earlier this year that the pair were part of a project that was being shopping around to networks and other content providers.

The show, which does not currently have a title, has been picked up by Apple. Yes, we said Apple.

The tech giant, who has been working on an entry into scripted programming, has reportedly ordered two seasons of the show (at 20 episodes). This comes after a bit of a bidding war between other outlets, according to multiple reports.

The new series is expected to explore the world morning shows and the larger New York media scene.  It will dig deeper into the challenges faced by those who carry out the ritual of helping “America wake up” each morning.

The series will mark Aniston’s first return to a full-time TV gig since playing Rachel Green on Friends. Witherspoon, of course, had a guest-starring role on that show as Rachel Green’s sister, Jill.
