Pitbull sent his private plane to Puerto Rico to help transport cancer patients to US mainland.

Pitbull, by the way, didn't call attention to his good deed. He was recognized by Puerto Rico's congresswoman Jenniffer Gonzalez on Twitter for the kind gesture.

She thanked Pitbull for lending his private plane to move cancer patients from PR to the mainland.

The island is facing a huge huminatarian crisis more than a week after Hurricane Maria devestated the US territory. More than 97% of the island doesn't have electrical power, and 44% of the island's residents don't even have fresh drinking water. Hospitals and their patients are feeling the brunt of the crisis too.

Pitbull later told the NY Daily News that he was just doing his part, and thanked god that he is blessed enough to be able to help.
