Queen Elizabeth II Has Four Cocktails a Day & She Starts Drinking Pretty Early

Yes, Queen Elizabeth II's daily drinking schedule has been revealed

August 3, 2017

Cheers! Queen Elizabeth II is apparently throwing back 4 alcoholic drinks each day. Yes, a newly resurfaced report says that the 91-year-old has 4 alcoholic drinks each day.

According to Her Majesty's cousin, Margaret Rhodes, The Queen is a creature of habit. She says that The Queen's alcohol intake "never varies."

So what does Her Majesty drink each day?

  • BEFORE LUNCH: Queen Elizabeth II enjoys a gin and Dubonnet with lemon and ice.
  • WITH LUNCH: Her Majesty enjoys wine (or champagne, according to some reports) with her lunch.
  • EACH EVENING: Her Royal Highness finishes the day with dry martini and glass of champagne.

So her four drinks each day add up to about six units of alcohol each day. So The Independent says that by British "government standards," Her Majesty is actually a binge drinker.

Somehow, we think that nobody is going to tell Her Royal Highness to stop drinking.

By the way, this is not a new revelation. This report was first published by The Independent in 2012.  However, it seems to be making its rounds again online this week.
