Yes, this is something "we want." In fact, it’s something we "really, really want," but we’re not totally sure it’s happening.

There are REPORTS that the Spice Girls are planning a comeback next year. Let us be clear: nothing has been confirmed at this point. In fact, there is some conflicting information about the reunion.

British media is alleging that all five members of the Spice Girls (even Posh Spice, Victoria Beckham) will come together for a TV special AND a new album next year. The Sun reports that the girls have been working on the deal since the summer. Mel C has reportedly been “leading” the campaign for a reunion.

Well, don't get TOO excited just yet. TMZ is now reporting that Beckham (and her management) have not been involved in any of negotations. Beckham is busy working on her fashion line, and TMZ says she doesn't even want to be a part of a possible reunion.

Rumors have previously swirled that the girls would get back together for a large reunion of some kind, but it always sounded like Victoria Beckham had been holding out. The Sun and Daily Mail are now reporting that that Beckham is IN for next year’s reunion. The girls last performed togheter at closing ceremony for the 2012 London Olympics.

If these reports are true, who would ever have imagined we’d spend a day in 2018 listening to a new Spice Girls album while watching new episodes Roseanne on ABC and continuing to see what Will & Grace are up to on NBC. Wow, 2018 could look an AWFUL like 1998!

The things we’ll do for nostalgia, right?
