Warning: The Next Two Episodes of 'This Is Us' Will Make You Cry

November 21, 2017

USA Today

The next two episodes of This Is Us are expected to each be emotionally draining. Wait, didn't we just say that last week too?

Yeah, we did. But still... this is another warning.

Tonight's episode, titled "Number 2," is the second part of the fall trilogy for the series. Each episode of the trilogy tells us about a big day in the life of each of the Pearson siblings.

Last week we got Kevin's back story, and tonight we'll get to see Kate's story (Kate is played by Chrissy Metz). We found multiple publications that are warning that tonight's episode will be a tear jerker.  We will see Kate as she struggles with opening up to her mother throughout her life.

So next week (November 28)'s episode, which is the show's "fall finale" will bring some emotional relief, right?

Don't bet on it.

Jon Huertas, who plays Miguel on the hit NBC show, told Entertainment Tonight that the November 28 episode may be the most emotional episode of season 2 (so far). Next week's broadcast will focus on Randall's story.

He went on to call next week's show "heart-wrenching" even. Want more details from Huertas? He dished about what we can expect from his character and more about season 2 of the hit show with Entertainment Tonight.

This Is Us airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
