Was The Release Date for 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' Just Dropped?

June 7, 2017

It's a television premiere that has been 6 years in the making, and the wait may soon be over. Comedian JB Smoove may have just revealed the release date for the 9th season of HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm

Smoove, who plays Leon on the show, recently said at a Philadelphia show that the show would return on October 1.

The news has not been confirmed by any official sources just yet, but the show has had a Sunday timeslot in the past. October 1 IS a Sunday, so we are hoping that it may be true.

The show's 8th season aired in 2011, but the series was never canceled by HBO. In fact. the show's return seemed to depend on Larry David's willingness to do it.

Filming for the 9th season of the cult HBO show had wrapped earlier this year. The show's core cast is all expected to appear in the show's reboot. Plus, Gilmore Girls star Lauren Graham even confirmed that she will appear on the show this season.
