Which Celebs Could Appear on the Upcoming Celebrity Edition of Big Brother?

It's been about a month since reports surfaced that CBS was planning on launching a celebrity edition of their hit reality show, Big Brother. So what's the latest?

The Hollywood reporter says that it should air in either January or February of next year (as a shorter season than the typical summer broadcasts are).

What about casting? Obviously, it will be tough to get some celebrities to sign on board for a show like this because there's basically no privacy for the house mates. Julie Chen told The Hollywood Reporter that the show is "being realistic" about casting. She went on to reveal it won't be a cast "filled with Oscar winners."

The show has a number of outspoken celebrity fans like NSYNC's Lance Bass. So could he join the show? In the Hollywood Reporter's story, Bass revealed he would consider appearing, but it may depend on who else could be cast for the season.

Julie Chen threw names like Martha Stewart, Snoop Dogg, and Andy Cohen into the mix as possible housemates.

Who else made Chen's list? Read the rest of The Hollywood Reporter's exclusive story here to find out. Plus, Julie Chen talks about having to take a pay cut for the celebrity edition.

Big Brother has aired on CBS for 19 seasons already. This past summer brought some of the strongest ratings for the summer time program.
