This could be an EPIC moment for the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards. In fact, this could be one of the biggest moments in entertainment this year. There are reports that Katy Perry will bring Taylor Swift on stage to perform at this year's ceremony.

The two, of course, have had a long standing (and pretty public) feud relating to backup dancers that were shared between their tours. Katy has spoken very publicly about wanting to bury the hatchet with Taylor this year in interviews as she's been promoting her new album.

It has been widely speculated that Perry's 2017 song "Swish Swish" is a response to Taylor's 2014 song "Bad Blood." Of course, it's been assumed that "Bad Blood" was a message from Swift to Perry about their feud.

The report about a possible reuinon at the 2017 Video Music Awards is from the BBC. They say that Katy Perry could be bringing Taylor Swift on stage to perform during the live telecast. It is the first we've heard about such a big reconciliation between the two pop stars.

In fact, it would be an even bigger deal since Taylor Swift hasn't made too many public appearances in recent months. She has been busy working on new music at her home, according to reports.

Katy Perry will be the show's host, and she is scheduled to perform during the show. The MTV Video Music Awards will air on MTV on Sunday August 27 at 7 p.m. ET
