Stop Doing These Five Things In The Shower

March 8, 2018

There’s a pretty good chance most of us have been doing things in the shower all wrong, so HealthyWay says you need to stop doing these things:

Since your shower water is usually hotter than the water you’d use in your sink, washing your face in the shower can dry your skin out.

I’m guilty of this one, and I’m not really sure why I haven’t changed my dirty ways! Lots of people think feet are gross in general, but don’t forget they need love too!

Just like kitchen sponges, loofahs are a haven for gross bacteria. They need to be air dried and be replaced a couple of times a year.

Razors can harbor bacteria too, and if you’re one of those people who accidentally cuts themselves you’re just begging for a trip to infection city eventually.

I love the feeling of the hot water hitting my skin, but said skin can also dry out because of it (it also increases your annual lotion bill). Science also suggests that COLD showers can be beneficial to your health.
