A Woman's Ice Cream Sandwich Wouldn't Melt And The Internet Freaked Out

Happy National Ice Cream Sandwich Day! To celebrate, we're gonna ruin one of your favorite frozen treats by talking about how an Australian woman's ice cream sandwich didn't melt, despite being outside for four days...yep you heard me, FOUR DAYS. Here's the remnants of this "super" sandwich:
This Coles ice cream sandwich was thrown on the grass on Friday afternoon and it still hasn’t melted. https://t.co/Iv4cLl8b7F pic.twitter.com/3djAvTHK58

The internet caught wind of Mary Salter's story when she asked Coles Supermarket on Facebook what the deal was:
Coles sent a statement to Australian news, basically saying that they add a thickener to slow down the melting rate, and when the liquid evaporates you're left with what looks like a foamy substance. Of course that leaves the internet feeling some type of way on today's "holiday..."
