Great news, KatyCats! Katy Perry finally announced the details about her upcoming album. The best part is that you won't have to wait too long to get your paws on the new album.

The album title and release date were both announced on Monday morning (May 15). Perry's fourth studio album will be titled, Witness. It will be released on June 9. Witness is the follow-up to Prism, which Perry released in 2013.

The new album's first single, "Chained to the Rhythm" featuring Skip Marley, was released in February. "Bon Appetit" featuring Migos, which is the second single from Witness, dropped on April 28. Katy says that she is reflecting on changes in her own life and the world on this album. She hopes to challenge and inspire us with the tracks on this album.

Perry will also hit the road on Witness: The Tour this fall. Perry will stop in 43 arenas across the United States and Canada before the tour wraps in early February 2018. A complete list of stops is available on Katy's website.

Katy will be the musical guest on the season finale of Saturday Night Live this weekend (May 20). Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will be hosting Saturday's episode.
