3 Traits That Make Men More Likely to Cheat

July 10, 2019

One thing I have learned over the last few years is that we are fascinated by people who may or may not be psychopaths and those who cheat in their relationships. Every couple of week I come upon some new study about both of these topics.

The New York Post compiled a list based on multiple studies done on cheaters over the years and came up with a list.

So here are the guys that made the list:

1. Tall Men: And by tall, they mean 5'10" or taller.

2. Men in IT as in information technology. I wonder if they are more likely to cheat because they know all the ways to cover their tracks and get away with it?

3. Men whose age ends in 9. They are about to hit another milestone birthday and sometimes this means a midlife crisis. People that are getting closer to these birthdays tend to stray. I think maybe it's in part because people start to reevaluate their lives and wonder if there's something better out there. The grass isn't always greener on the other side, just saying!

You can see the rest of the list from The Post here

I personally have a few of my own types of men to add to the list.

1. Men in high management positions: Maybe it's a power thing, but I have known quite a few men in upper management at places I worked in the past that couldn't keep it in their pants.

2. Men in the spotlight: This could be a celebrity, politician, or even someone well known in the community. Again, maybe they do it because they can and people are willing to be the other woman?

3. Men with some sort of fetish: And this can be something as simple as being spanked and not something over the top. But if they aren't getting their fetish fulfilled at home, they will go elsewhere to get it.

4. Men with a lot of extra money: Having an affair can be expensive especially if you're having to go to a hotel to have a meet up with your side chick.

Are there any other types of men you would add to this list?
