October 4, 2017

Suddenly, I am craving all the tacos. I guess it's in part because I'm writng an entire blog devoted to National taco day and some fun facts you may not have known about tacos.

Who doesn't love tacos? There are so many different amazing options when it comes to this portable food item.

Here's a list of some places you can get discounted tacos today!

Taco Bell is offering up quite the special. They are calling it their "National Taco Day gift set." For $5, get four classic Taco Bell tacos — Nacho Cheese, Cool Ranch, Fiery Doritos Locos Tacos and the Crunchy Taco — “gift wrapped” in a limited edition wrapper and specially boxed.

On the Border: Mini tacos are 50 cents each when you dine-in Wednesday at participating locations.

Chuy's: Crispy beef tacos are $1 with any order Wednesday at participating locations. And if you want your meal free you just have to dress up like a taco.

As if we needed an excuse to eat Tacos today, the deals above are too good to miss.

And here are some fun facts you may not know about Tacos.

1. Taco Bell's founder invented the U-shaped crispy taco shell.

2. Half the U.S. population eats Taco Bell at least once a month.

3. In 1979 a Woman Named Maris Bustamante Patented the Taco.
