5 Signs You're About to Get Dumped

August 24, 2017

Before you read this list, I want you to think about the last time you were dumped or broke up with someone. I feel like 9 out of 10 times; there are some pretty obvious signs that a split is coming. Maybe we see them and choose to ignore them, or maybe we're oblivious.

I found an article, The 23 biggest signs your partner is about to leave you, but I think that there are more than just 23. Also, there are signs that are a lot more definitive than some on this list. For me when I am about to end a relationship, I start changing or improving my physical appearance.

1. The person you're with suddenly changes their physical appearance: This could be from getting a major hair cut or style change to changing their hair color. Also, if the person you're with starts suddenly changing the way they dress for no reason, that too could be cause for concern.

2. There are more me activities then we activities: Is your boo thang starting to pick up new hobbies or wanting to spend more time without you? This is a clear and visible sign they are slowly starting to separate their life from yours.

3. Social Media Accounts Change: His profile pic was one of the two of you, and now suddenly it's a solo pic? It goes a little further than that. If you start to notice photos of the two of you disappearing or tags with you on posts disappearing, this too points in the direction that you're about to be dropped like a bad habit.

4. The other person seems to start fights over everything: If your partner seems to suddenly be super disagreeable about everything, you should worry. This could be a sign that they're trying to get you to do the dumping because they don't have the cajones to do it themselves. Or they want to come out of the relationship looking like the victim.

Doh! You should have seen that last break up coming a mile away. And if you're in a relationship and you're suddenly doing these things, perhaps it's time to take a long, hard look at if this relationship is working for you.
