It can be a real challenge to change up your eating habits and choose foods that are healthier for you especially if you've eaten whatever you want for so long. In case you didn't know, our metabolisms change when we get older. So while you may have been able to eat all the ice cream you wanted into your late 30's without gaining weight, things may change once you hit your fourties!

I have never been one of those people that can eat anything I wanted. I swear I just think about a slice of cake and gain a pound. It's not fair, really!

But according to a new study, eating healthy is a lot easier than most of us think. Research from the University of Tübingen, Germany found that changing our eating habits may be as simple as changing our mindsets.

All you need to do is think about eating healthy while preparing your food and you are more likely to make healthier choices. Really, it's that simple?

A few weeks ago, I shared a information on a study that found that at any given time nealry half of Americans are trying to lose weight. That's crazy, right? But it makes sense because obesity is such a problem in our country. Did you know two out of three Americans are overweight or obese?

If you want to eat better, you need to think about it while making your food. Just changing your mindset before mealtime will help you eat less and even serve yourself smaller portions.
