Could Your Clothing Be Causing Back Issues?

It may be trendy, but it could also be causing you pain!

I know I get back pain because I overload my giant handbag and carry it on one side. I also have terrible posture at work and sit over multiple computer screens. Those are just a few things that could be making you have pain. 

But did you know the clothes you wear can also be a cause? 


So what are some the clothing items that can be affecting your posture and in turn giving you back issues? Well if you've jumped on the skinny jean bandwagon, experts say they are one of the biggest contributors. I mean, how can you know jump on the skinny jean bandwagon? They look fabulous with high boots and longer sweaters and shirts. 

The British Chiropractic Association is calling out skinny jeans! One of the leading chiropractors from the study said that skinny jeans "restrict free movement in areas such as the hips and knees, affecting the way we hold our bodies." Thankfully, skinny jeans are on their way out for 2018 so we can get a break from the issues they cause. 

So what are some other items that can also be causing harm? Big sweaters, jackets, heavy jewelry, high heels, and shoes without a back on them. I think that's pretty much anything fun. I know I love big sweaters and I always wear a long statement necklace with my skinny jeans. I better call the chiropractor now!
