There are so many things that can affect our moods. From lack of sleep to weather and even the food we eat, our moods can fluctuate throughout the day. 

If you woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning and you're in a funk, I found a few easy ways to fix your mood quickly. Yes, watching cat videos has been proven to put us in a better mood, but this isn't about cats or videos. Instead, we are going to focus on the things you can eat that will help your mood.

Mental Health experts suggest that diet is the first thing to consider if you're suddenly feeling blue. They refer to the stomach as the second brain because it impacts our moods almost as much as our brains.

1. Avocado: The healthy fats and omega 3 fatty acids will help regulate your mood. Avocado toast anyone?

2. Coffee: I told you recently about a study that found that people who drink coffee at work tend to get along better with their coworkers. Drinking more coffee can help prevent depression.

3. Fresh Fruit: I love fresh fruit, especially in the Summer! Fruits that are high in vitamin C can help alleviate stress.
