'House of Cards' Staffers Make Allegations Against Kevin Spacey

The fall out of Spacey's career continues.

November 3, 2017

With every new day, there are more allegations being made against actor/director Kevin Spacey

It started on Sunday with actor Anthony Rapp's story of his alleged run-in with Spacey at a party when Rapp was just 14-years-old. Those allegations have since spawned even more allegations of sexual misconduct, harassment, and even assault.

Actors, filmmakers, and even crew are sharing their personal experiences or what they witnessed over the years working with Spacey.

Today is a new day and more people are saying they were allegedly victimized by Spacey too. And these incidents would have happened in the last few years because these people all worked with him on the Netflix hit series House of Cards. Eight people that worked on the show came forward to CNN on Thursday alleging or corroborating accusations of sexual misconduct by Spacey on set.

Their stories were all pretty much similar and claimed that Spacey's behavior  “included nonconsensual touching and crude comments and targeted production staffers who were typically young and male.”

Netflix made this statement yesterday. "When the allegations broke about Kevin Spacey on Sunday night, in conjunction with MRC, we sent a representative to set on Monday morning. Netflix was just made aware of one incident, five years ago, that we were informed was resolved swiftly. On Tuesday, in collaboration with MRC, we suspended production, knowing that Kevin Spacey wasn’t scheduled to work until Wednesday. Netflix is not aware of any other incidents involving Kevin Spacey on-set. We continue to collaborate with MRC and other production partners to maintain a safe and respectful working environment. We will continue to work with MRC during this hiatus time to evaluate our path forward as it relates to the production, and have nothing further to share at this time."

I think it's safe to assume that Frank Underwood's character will have to be killed off to finish the 6th and final season of House of Cards.
