Are you one of those people that wakes up, showers, and stands in your closet trying to find something to wear? You get anxiety over all of the choices or maybe it's more of a panic because you just can't seem to find the right thing to wear.

I am that girl more often than I'd like to admit. Part of my issue is that I am crazy because I have a closet packed full of clothes. I even have clothes in my closet that still have tags on them. Yet, I still have nothing to wear? Yup, that's a total First World problem.

The good news for me and you if you too panic over making a choice on what to wear is that it's a pretty common issue in our country. Experts actually have a name for this condition. They call it "wardrobe panic."

The study conducted by Trunk Club found that 61% of Americans find themselves struggling with what to wear on a regular basis. How many times will we experience this panic in our lives? Oh, about 2800 times. That breaks down to 36 times a year and 3 times each month.

The research also found that most people have plenty of things to wear in their closet. In fact, 28% of the items in the average person's closet have never been worn or touched in the last year. You can read more findings from the study below.

But I do have a suggestion if you keep coming across this nothing to wear panic. This weekend we are Springing Ahead an hour because of daylight saving time. This is the perfect time to do some Spring cleaning in your closet. If you have things you haven't worn in forever or things you bought and never wore, get rid of them. You can donate them to a local charity. I normally take my clothes to Clothes Mentor to sell them and make some money. I can use that money and buy new clothes or find some amazing deals at Clothes Mentor on some gently used items.

Cheers to cleaning out your closet!
