John Mayer Defends Justin Bieber On Tour Cancellation

July 25, 2017

John Mayer has really grown up over the last few years. He used to be known as the guy who would kiss and tell. He'd share intimate details about all the women he's slept with in Hollywood without even thinking twice.

But after his latest album, The Search for Everything, came out he seemed like a changed man. He was very reflective about his poor behavior from previous years. Also, many tracks on his album are about his relationship with Katy Perry and seem to be an attempt to make amends to her.

Now Mayer is coming to the defense of Justin Bieber who canceled the rest of his "Purpose World Tour." Justin had already played 152 dates and only had 14 shows left in the US, but fans were still ticked off.

His explanation for the cancellation also has fans a bit confused. ""I love you guys, I think you guys are awesome.  I'm sorry for anyone who feels, like, disappointed or betrayed, it's not in my heart or anything and have a blessed day." His people said the cancellation was due to "unforseen circumstances." But what does that even mean?

John Mayer is defending Bieber's decision to cancel his tour.

Given the recent suicide deaths of musicians likes Chester Beddington from Linkin park and Chris Cornell, I think that John's tweet really hits the mark. People seem to believe that celebrities and muscians are robots. They can perform and go days and months without time off and they are just always supposed to be performing. We don't know what's going on with Justin. He could have some depression issues or maybe he's just exhausted mentally and physically.
