Please, please, please let this be true!

We are only 3 weeks into the NFL's 2017-18 season and already there's talk about who may be performing at the upcoming Super Bowl Halftime show.

Earlier this week, we learned that Jay Z allegedly turned down the chance to perform at the February 4th game. It's speculated that he declined to perform because he was showing his support for Colin Kaepernick who protested the National Anthem at last season's games.

So now there's a new rumored performer and it has me ecstatic.

Rumors are saying that Justin Timberlake is in the final stages of negotiating a deal to perform. But wait, wasn't he banned from ever performing again after the Janet Jackson nipplegate incident in 2004?

He's currently working on his next album so maybe it's coming out sooner than we all thought. I know JT will kill it, but not everyone is happy because he's been essentially given a free pass from the 2004 incident, but Janet hasn't.

Maybe he will bring Janet out as a guest and all will be forgiven for 2004?
