LuLaRoe Facing Lawsuit

Even their buttery soft leggings may not save them!

October 31, 2017

Were you one of the many people that jumped on the LuLaRoe bandwagon? Their claim to fame was their buttery soft leggings with the limited edition patterns. But the company grew by leaps and bounds and started expanding its offerings to shirts, dressers, dusters, and even work out pants.

They don't sell their items in a store, but rather use consultants that do pop-up parties or sell them on Facebook through groups. As the company grew and more people signed on as consultants, their business practices began to change and a lot of people weren't pleased.

If you google it, you'll find that there are a lot of complaints about the clothing's quality. Many leggings are shipped with holes and rip after being worn for a brief time. Customers aren't happy and that's making business harder for the over 80,000 independent consultants. Some of these people have invested their life savings into a company they believed in and now are left in debt because they cannot get rid of their inventory.

Many consultants are filing lawsuits and claiming that LulaRoe is a form of a pyramid scheme.

Sounds like a nightmare that I am happy I never got involved in!
