Back in May people in Mooresville were freaking out because there was an odd aircraft flying in the sky. Jason Swing was able to capture the unidentified object flying over Lake Norman from work. His video has since gone viral with more than 260-thousand times.

What is it? Check out his footage below, but be ware because it's very shaky!

In the beginning of the video, Swing calls the aircraft a spacecraft. He came to this conclusion because the object seemed to not move much and just hoovered over the lake.

People began to share what they thought it was with some saying it was some high-tech military aircraft to a low flying plane. As it turns out, it was neither of those and it was most certainly not a spacecraft.

That was the weekend of the Coca-Cola 600 and it was the Goodyear Blimp. "We don’t want to get in the way of a good story, but that’s definitely us. We left the Charlotte area 5/29 after covering the Coke 600."

Blimps are the most common aircraft mistaken for UFO's, by the way. Also did you know North Carolina ios notorious for UFO sightings? We are in the top 10 states for extraterrestrial activity!
