In case you didn't know, going out to eat at restaurants, for the most part, can be not the best choice if you're on a diet or trying to eat healthily. The portion sizes are sometimes five times the normal portion we should be eating. And with that larger portion comes more calories, carbs, fats, and sodium. 

Many restaurants are offering healthy menu options. You can also customize your order to make it fit into whatever diet you are following. It just takes a little leg work ahead of time to visit the restaurant's website and view the nutritional information.

But while some restaurants are opting to be healthier, others are trying to give us a heart attack with some of their unhealthy menu options. Eek!

I'm not going to give you the whole list, but highlight just a few of the ones that really stand out. 

1. Chili’s: Ultimate Smokehouse Combo

That's a huge plate of food. So why is it so bad? It has 2,440 calories, 41 grams of saturated fat, and 7,610 mg of sodium. Just so you know, the normal diet should consist of about 2500 calories and 2000 mg of sodium! 

2. The Cheesecake factory: The Flying Gorilla (it's an adult drink)

This drink is more like a meal because it has 950 calories, 26 grams of saturdated fat, and an estimated 60 grams of added sugar!

3. Buffalo Wild Wings: Cheese Curd Bacon Burger 

I think I gained 20lbs just looking at the photo of that thing! It has 1,950 calories and that's without the loaded fries. It also has 53 grams of saturdated fat and 4,700 mg of Sodium. 

Again, if you are looking to go out to eat and stick to a diet you need to visit the website and see the nutritional info so you can make a well-informed decision! You can also divide you plate of food into quarters and eat one quarter and save the rest!
