New Dating APP Matches People Based On Dislikes

February 3, 2017

There's are dating websites and dating APPs designed for very specific groups of people like farmers, Apple computer fans, and Christians looking for love. But there's a new dating APP that's going live soon that will be like none of the other ones on the market.

If you've ever filled out a profile on one of the sites or APPs, you know that most of the questions are all about what you like in a partner, your favorite hobbies, and places you like to go. So what's going to be so different about this new APP?

The APP that hits iTunes and Google Play on the 8th is called Hater. We love a lot of things, but when we dislike or even hate something those feelings tend to be much stronger. “What we hate is an important part of who we are, but it’s often swept under the rug in our public persona,” Hater CEO Brendan Alper says of the product. “We want people to express themselves more honestly. Plus, it’s easy to start a conversation with someone if you know you both hate pickles.”

I somewhat agree with the idea behind this APP. I love all kinds of food, but I cannot stand a picky eater. So if you aren't a fan of something other than meat and potatoes, we wouldn't be a match. Unfortunately, with all the other dating sites it would take me quite a few conversations to get this information about their food weirdness. Or maybe even a face-to-face meeting where they order chicken fingers and french fries because they eat like a six-year-old.

Life is too short to waste time getting to know someone who loves a certain political party when you hate them. Bravo, Hater App, I think you may be on to something here!
